ARTŪRAS VISOCKAS

• Born 19th January, 1968 in Kelmė, Lithuania;
• Graduated from Šiauliai 10th Secondary School;
• Acquired a university degree in Pedagogy at Siauliai Pedagogical Institute in 1993;
• 2011-2015 member of Šiauliai City Council;
• Šiauliai city mayor since 2015; re-elected in 2019 and 2023;
• Before becoming the mayor of Šiauliai was the owner of an individual enterprise ,,Foto 202“;
• 2000-2011 involved in various voluntary and social projects (especially, the clean-up efforts of the Salduvė mound, Talkša lake shores and Šiauliai park);
• Hobby - orienteering sport;
• Married. Wife - Edita, two sons - Matas and Ugnius.
